More T Vicar - waving the flag for the environment: 

Here at the Vicarage, we believe that it's ruddy important to consider the environment as much as possible in all our processes. As such, we cast a critical eye over our humble abode and made big plans to reduce our environmental impact, starting with reducing our use of plastic bags. The world is currently producing nearly 300 million tons of plastic each year - a significant amount of which will end up in the oceans. 

This is harmful to the environment, the ocean and our wildlife. So we are pleased to announce we will no longer be individually bagging all our tees in plastic cellophane. Once we have phased out all the plastic from individual t-shirts, we will then look to address our use of plastic mailing bags. We aim to instead use biodegradable or recyclable packaging to deliver all our lovely goodies in. 

This will drastically reduce our plastic use (plus the t-shirt packers get to finish a little earlier, enough time for a pint) and while we are always still working to lessen our impact, we hope that it will be just the first of many positive changes.

What Happens To Unsellable Stock? 
Due to the nature of our business, there will always be tees that become irrelevant, creating unsellable but still 100% wearable stock. We felt this was a big waste and took steps to address this problem. We now donate the majority of unsellable stock to schools in Zambia through a trusted charity. 

Waste Disposal 
The whole of our Vicarage, including our warehouse and office, has implemented a 'Zero To Landfill' waste management with Simply Waste Solutions. They recycle as much material as possible and what can’t be recycled gets converted into energy to power homes and businesses. Hallelujah!
